Planning for the multi camera set up.

We would be shooting on the Ursa Mini from BlackMagic design this camera does not have a HDMI out only a SDI out which is intended for the use of live broadcasting in full uncompressed glory, but the issue with this is that over 99.99% do not contain such a input this provides a issue.

Luckily a work around is available, but it is not cheap or convenient. This converter can directly convert a SDI signal to a HDMI one.
With extra conversions come extra fire risks as heat is being generated, so a person with a extinguisher would have to be on set.

I have checked with the media department and they only have one of these converters so a alternative source would be required. I have researched online and found that there is a website who is leasing them out for a affordable price.

With the use of HDMI comes yet another problem, the televisions would have to have a HDMI input, most televisions that utilize a HDMI connection are fairly modern so we have two options: use another (further delaying the signal), or using actual HDMI capable televisions. We have decided to minimize risk we would use actual HDMI televisions, such as the cheap ones that are available to rent to the left.
