I created a website for The Weekend using Wix a free website creator.
I used basic text and images to create a rustic appearance, this is because the weekend follows the conventions of a very rustic one.

Considering that a gig will generate the most revenue I put the gigs on the front page, but the official website has put the gigs in a separate part.
In both of our websites the genre of being indie and different is apparent because of the grainy images.
The official website represents the brand to much more laid back and relaxed, whilst my website promotes the artist as being superior and bold. These are juxtaposing star images.
