Lighting Presentation from lighting professional

A lighting professional came in to give us a presentation on the different lighting options that are available.
The lighting equipment we will be able to utilize.
There are 2 Atomic 1000 DMX, this is a strobe and is variable.
There is also 2 UV cannons to use but we were told that if you use cheap clothing or paint it will not show up.
Also there is 5 Source 4 Junior spotlights, this has the feature of having a hard light and is done more for effect.
We will have access to 8 Thomas 4 SYC's these are good for flooding something with light for example for using with a green screen, this light allows you to slip a gel in front of it to give a colored light. 
There is a single bar with 6 lights that can be used for affect, these give a beam of light if used with a smoke machine.
Of course for a patterned projection we could use a projection which is being used more and more within music videos now.
There is also a Martin Mac 700. This light allows for areal effects and it is controllable from a joystick. You can even change the diffusion to give different affects.
When trying to get continuity in lighting it is essential that from one cut to the other that they are similar and that they match.
When using smoke it is important to bear in mind that using a smoke machine will only result in filling up the whole room with smoke whilst using dry ice will stick to the floor and give a crisper result.
